Welcome to

mylor primary school

School is our mini world where we’re all friends, building our community together. Just like the sunrise brings a new day, school lets us start fresh each morning. With friends by our side, we can learn, laugh, and grow together, making every day an adventure.

It is my pleasure and privilege to introduce you to Mylor Primary School.

We are a small school located in the picturesque Adelaide Hills.

Our strategy is to unlock every child’s potential now and for their future. Our Purpose is to work in partnership with children, families, and communities to engage, nurture, and empower every child to be lifelong learners.

As a small school our staff work as a team to provide the best learning and social opportunities for students, and all staff get to know the students and their needs. We offer a neuroaffirming practice that aim to provide a safe and welcoming environment for neurodivergent students. We do this my recognising and celebrating the differences in individuals and offer tailored support that is attuned to their specific needs. Our students are everyone’s responsibility.

Our high-quality teaching and learning areas include English, Mathematics, Humanities and Social Sciences, Health and Physical Education, Science, Technologies. We also provide specialist teaching including Aboriginal Culture and Language, Performing Arts (Dance, Drama, Media Arts and Music) and Visual Arts.

We are very lucky to have a supportive community of parents and families, many of whom volunteer their valuable time for the benefit of the school and our students.

We currently have vacancies in all year levels, and we accept enrolments from students outside our local area.

Please enjoy exploring our school’s website.

Kind regards,

Melissa Babic
